What a wonderful tour! It felt like we were getting a private, behind-the-scenes look at one of Paris's fashion treasures. The history, architecture, design, and stories were fascinating, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The only challenge was finding the starting location. Look for the Galeries Lafayette name above one of the main entrances on Boulevard Haussmann. We accidentally ended up at the back security office while searching for the tour entrance, but it turned out to be a happy mistake. The security officer was incredibly kind and personally escorted us to the correct location. By chance, he was also there when we left, so we had the opportunity to thank him again for his generosity. This is a fantastic experience that's a little off the typical tourist path, but absolutely worth adding to your Paris itinerary.

This was easy enough to book, great instructions on where to meet, etc and the tour guide was FANTASTIC! She was soooo obviously into what she was explaining! It’s great to have a person who is an advocate of the place! Very knowledgeable and shared facts in a delightful way! Gorgeous store, wonderful. Everything was A+

I have been trying to do this tour every time I have been to Paris but the timing never worked out. I am so glad I was finally able to do it. The view of the stained glass dome was amazing and the tour included going out on the glass walk. I learned a lot and this was a very unique experience. The archives part was interesting. My husband enjoyed it too. I highly recommend it.
